Beauty Crush #1

I know what you're probably thinking:
"Whoah. That's a lot of Kylie Jenner." (And I'm not even a big follower of hers)
And I would totally agree if it were not for the crazy/beautiful hair and makeup she's been sporting these past few months. (And I'm ignoring the fact that she may have (read: definitely) had something done to her face, mainly because its her face, not mine). Moving onwards...

No "Zit" Sherlock...

I legit just ran to my computer because I was so compelled to do a write up on the Bliss "No Zit Sherlock Rubberizing Mask."

Note: I did this mask at 12:40 am on a Sunday night (or Monday morning for you trolls) because I felt ALIVE.

The Met Gala. The Met Ball. The Met Gala Ball?

Whatever its official name is, it occurred last night, and is pretty much the Oscar's of the fashion world. Each year, there is a specific theme, last year's was "Punk: Chaos to Couture" and this year's was "Charles James: Beyond Fashion". Now, a wee little google search of this iconic man would give you a pretty clear understanding of what the theme was. Too bad a few of the guests couldn't manage to hit the good ol' search engine.

Dark Spots Be (not really) Gone

I'm quite conflicted with this product. And by this product I'm referring to the Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector. The Dark Spot Corrector is essentially a serum you apply in the morning and evening to reduce dark spots. Because of its exfoliating properties, you need to follow it with some SPF after applying it in the morning, as it will make you more sensitive to sunlight.

Product Empties #1

Remember as a child your parents would praise you for finishing your dinner/homework/dressing yourself?

Yeah... no me neither.

Fight the Frizz!

Let's face it. The winter months are dreadful for our hair. The wind, the snow, and the snoods/hoods/beanies (oh my!) are definitely taking a toll on our pretty little manes.

The frizz and dryness we experience in the cold weather is mainly due to the lack of moisture in the air. Dry cold air = less moisture = more frizz = absolute hair hell. So, the best way to combat the enemy is to add moisture back into your hair. Here are some products I use that hydrate, and lock in the moisture so my hair stays in tip top shape!

My Holiday Nails - Sally Hanson Nail Strips

I use the holidays as an excuse to have ├╝ber snazzy nails. So when my mother asks me why my nails are always done (my parents have an odd aversion to nail varnish et al.) I justify it by saying, “oh mum, lighten up, it’s the holidays… a special occasion you know? And then she gets off my case.

For the past week I’ve been rocking these Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips in “Ama-zen”. Hopefully the people who created these names got good year-end bonuses.
